My name is Dan Meyers and I am the owner of Gentle Transitions for seniors. I have been a Firefighter/Paramedic in the western suburbs of Chicago since 2006. Countless times in my career I have seen families struggle with decisions in what to do with their loved ones home when it's time to move into a senior community. Unfortunately these situations can arise very quickly causing added stress. This is where we come in. We can quickly purchase homes for cash AS-IS. About me
Ten years ago I started helping families with their aging loved ones. It started small with me making sure their current living conditions were safe. Sometimes it was just making sure the lights were bright enough for them to see down a hallway at night or that there were no tripping hazards. I've changed countless carbon monoxide and smoke detector batteries. Over time I realized that when it was time for the family to sell and unlock the equity in their Mom or Dads house a typical Real Estate sale wasn't the best option for them. It could be months of waiting for the money to get the proper care they needed.
